Renowned scholar Hafiz Muhammad Saeed Baghdadi echoed this spirit by drawing on the life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ—sharing stories of compassion, interfaith respect, and human dignity that transcended faith and background. He reminded us that, ‘Was it not a human soul?’ is a principle to live by.
Lord Rami Ranger emphasized that Britain’s strength lies in its diversity, and it is our collective duty to protect it. Hon. Alderman Mushtaq Lasharie CBE spoke of decades of community service and the urgent need to institutionalize inclusion.
Mayor Sana Haider Jafri and Deputy Mayor Muhammad Shakeel Akram called for youth engagement and civic unity, while Rebecca from the Quaker interfaith community and Cheena Nkaru inspired with messages of peace through dialogue.
